It uses different light transmittance for the body’s tissues causing by vascular pulsing to measure the pulse.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Preparation” tab_id=”1397787737-2-95″][vc_column_text]1. Build Arduino environment, download the Arduino IDE from www.arduino.cc
2. Build processing environment, download the newest version progressing IDE from www.processing.org

- Pulsesensor ‘+’ – > arduino +5V
[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Test Code” tab_id=”1397787777757-3-9″][vc_column_text]Download pulse sensor library and processing PulseSensorAmpd_
Put the downloaded pulse sensor under the arduinolibraries directory
Open the File -> Examples -> PulseSensorAmped_Arduino_1dot2 -> PulseSensorAmped_Arduino_1dot2 routine
Burn the program into the Arduino board.
Open the processing, open the PluseSensorSensorAmpd_Processing_1dot1.pde file under the PluseSensorSensorAmpd_Processing_1dot1 file
Then click the Verify to start the compiling, the heart rate interface will display.

Notice: to avoid the sweat in hand may cause short circuit, it is suggested that we could use the hot melt adhesive to seal the side which welded with the components and the sensors side can use the duct tape to seal.
