Test 3G+GPS Shield

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]In this post, we are going to show how to test the 3G+GPS Shield. This is a quick test to check if the hardware is working.

First, we take a Arduino Uno and remove the ATMEGA328P. Install 3G shield on the empty Arduino Uno.

Please use a wall adapter rated at 6V/2A.

Note: a voltage above 6V will destroy your 3G module.

Next, please pay attention to the jumper setting:

In our case, we are removing ATMEGA328P, and use Arduino USB to directly talk to 3G module.

In direct mode, please press the button to turn on the 3G module as shown in the below picture:

The serial port setting is 115200.
