When you use Arduino or Bluetooth and other USB chip, the computer will start to add COM ports to your PC. When you accumulate enough COM ports, it is really annoying. In this post we will show how to delete these unused COM ports.
Method:
Enter the start menu, and click the “Run”, and type “regedit”command, press the Enter to open the registry, enter
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlCOM Name
Delete the ComDB and restart the computer! ( Note: All the COM ports will be rebuilt ! )
