Test Voltage Translation Shield for pcDuino2/3

Posted by: admin , May 7, 2014

pcDuino has a logic level of 3.3V. However, there are still many legacy Arduino Shields and components out there that still uses 5V.  The voltage translation shield is a solution. This shield translates the 3.3V to 5V bidirectionally.  It can not only used  for pcDuino, but can also used for any other Arduino headers compatible 3.3V board, such as Arduino Due, Maple, and Netduino.

In the following, we will do a simple quick test. By setting digital 0 of pcDuino2 to be a high level signal, we can measure the voltage to be 5V.
