[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Poor eyesight, can not read? There is no audio book version? Does not matter, pcDuino can you read it for you.
We first install the sound software:

$sudo apt-get install pulseaudio pavucontrol

Here we use espeak to achieve TTS (Text to Speach)

$sudo apt-get install espeak

Then we copy the text which we need to espeak

$espeak "hello, welcome to pcDuinp. I can help you to fullfill your dream." --stdout|paplay

Now, you can let pcDuino read book for you.
