In previous posts(1, 2), we show how to use the pcDuino to make a IP webcam. In this post, we will look at how to integrate these IP cams into a home video security system. Doing events detection,  recording, and remote access.

The tool we are going to use is called Ispyconnect (ispyconnect.com). It is an open source tool. However, if you want to remote access, it requires a subscription.  We click the ‘add’ and use ‘add IP cam wizard’ to add the pcDuino based IP cam.
