Use Ethernet USB Adaptor on pcDuino3C on the eval board

pcDuino3C is a core board version of pcDuino3. The eagle files of pcDuino3c are released on the github including the BOM.  In this post, we show how to add a second Ethernet port to pcDuino3C by using an Ethernet USB adaptor.

An image that supports the Ethernet USB adaptor has been released on the image download page.  By installing this version of image on pcDuno3C, and then plug the Ethernet USB adaptor to pcDuino3C through a USB hub. We don’t have an easy access to an Ethernet cable, so we use a Wifi to Ethernet bridge.

The whole setup looks like:

Open a browser, we can browse the web:

By typing ‘$ifconfig’, we can see two Ethernet devices:
